Week 2 - Night Prayer - Day of the Passion

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father…..

HYMN Vol. XII, April 8, 1918

Oh, how the living in your Divine Will
is to enter into the realm of eternity;
it is to penetrate
into the all-powerfulness of God,
into the uncreated mind – and disappear!

It is to take part in each divine act
and to enjoy all of the divine qualities,
as much as a creature can!

It is to take everything
and to give everything to everyone;
it is that extending oneself
into everything and everyone,
without ever becoming exhausted!

It is the holiness that is still unknown,
that will put the final ornament on man-
the brightest and the most beautiful-,
and which will be the fulfillment
and the crown of all!

It is to take the divine love of the Father,
and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, as one’s own,
and give it to them and to everyone! Amen.

Ant. It is the little acts put together that form holiness.

Psalm Vol. XI, January 10, 1917

My child, holiness is formed of little things;
so, whoever disregards little things
cannot he holy.

It would be like someone who neglects
the little grains of wheat which, taken together,
form the pile of wheat.

By failing to gather them
he would lack the necessary and daily
nourishment of human life.

Similarly, whoever does not apply himself
to gathering together so many little acts,
would lack the nourishment of holiness.

And just as one cannot live without nourishment,
so too, without the nourishment of the little acts,
he would lack the true form of holiness,
and the sufficient mass to form holiness.

Glory be to the Father….

Ant. It is the little acts put together that form holiness.

SHORT READING Vol. XI, February 28, 1912

“My child, those who love me are united to me as the branches of a tree are united to the trunk. Could there ever be any separation, any forgetting each other, or different nourishment for the branches and the trunk? Their life is one, their purpose is one, their fruits are the very same. What is more, the trunk is the life of the branches and the branches are the glory of the trunk; they are both one and the same. This is how the souls that love me are with me.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XI, February 24, 1912

G. The soul that lives in my Will *loses its own temperament and acquires
mine.

E. The soul that lives in my Will *loses its own temperament and acquires
mine.

G. One notices in it a pleasant, attractive, penetrating, noble temperament
and a child-like simplicity.

E. *loses its own temperament and acquires mine.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. The soul that lives in my Will *loses its own temperament and acquires
mine.

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

Canticle (Spiritual testament of Luisa)

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

PRAYER
Merciful Father, by the most precious blood of Jesus, his wounds, his passion and all that he did and suffered for us, we beseech you for the salvation of all souls and for the extension of the Kingdom of your Divine Will on earth.
Amen.

May the Lord put an end to the night of the human will, and let us rest in the divine. Amen.

Week 2 - Evening Prayer - Day of the Passion

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father…..

HYMN Vol. XII, January 2, 1921, February 2, 1921

What honor, what glory, what joy and satisfaction,
for you, of most holy Trinity,
is the fulfillment of your third Fiat!

It is complete the glory and the honor of the Fiat
of creation; and it will confirm the development
of the fruits of the Fiat of redemption!

Oh, how the Fiat Voluntas tua,
on earth and it is in heaven⁴
will be the fulfillment and crown of everything,
just as the original splendor of man!

Yes, these three divine Fiats
will be the shadow of the most holy Trinity;
they will be one and three, inseparable
but distinct between themselves,
and each will be the life of the other!

Eternal love be to the creating Fiat of the Father,
immense love to the redeeming Fiat of the Son
and to the sanctifying Fiat of the Holy Spirit,
in the unity of the light of the Divine Will! Amen.

Ant. 1 My passion began as soon as I was conceived.

Psalm 1 Vol. XII, February 4, 1919

My child, see with what an excess of love
I loved the creature: my divinity was too jealous to entrust
the creature with the mission of the redemption,
making me suffer the passion.

4 “Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

The creature was powerless to make me die a death
for each creature that existed
and that would see the light of day,
and for each mortal sin
that it would have had the misfortune of committing.

The divinity wanted life for each death
that was caused by mortal sin.
Who could have been so powerful over me
to give me so many deaths, except the divinity?

Who would have had the power, the love and the constancy
to see me die so many times,
except the divinity?
The creature would have grown weary
and would have given out.

And don’t think that this work
of the divinity began late. No.
It began as soon as I was conceived
in the womb of my mother
(who many times was aware of my pains
and was martyred, and felt death together with me).

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. 1 My passion began as soon as I was conceived.

Ant.2 The passion that creatures gave me was the image of what the divinity made me suffer.

Psalm 2 Vol. XII, February 4, 1919

Right from the womb of my mother,
my divinity assumed the function of loving executioner;
but because it was loving
it was more demanding and inflexible,
so much so, that not even a thorn
or a nail was spared my moaning humanity.

But it wasn’t like the thorns, the nails
and the scourges that I suffered in the passion
that creatures gave me.
These did not multiply
they remained as many as they gave me.

On the contrary, those that the divinity gave me
were multiplied at every offense.
So, there were as many thorns for as many bad thoughts;
as many nails for as many unworthy works;
as many lashes for as many illicit pleasures;
as many pains for as many offenses of all kinds.

So, they were oceans of pains
of thorns and of nails,
and countless lashes.

In comparison to the passion that the divinity gave me,
the passion that creatures gave me the last day of my life
was nothing more than a shadow and an image
of what the divinity made me suffer
during the course of my life.

This is why I love souls so much:
they are lives that they cost me,
they are pains inconceivable to the created mind.
So, enter into my divinity
to see and to understand what I suffered.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant.2 The passion that creatures gave me was the image of what the divinity made me suffer.

Ant. 3 With what attention and respect the soul must meditate on my passion.

Psalm 3 Vol. XI, October 13, 1916

My child, during the course of my mortal life,
thousands of angels
were in attendance around my humanity,
gathering up all that I did:
my steps, my works, my sighs, my pains,
the drops of my blood, in a word, everything.

They were angels appointed to my care,
to honor me, obedient to all my gestures.
They came and went from heaven,
taking to the Father the things that I did.

These angels have a special office now:
as the soul recalls my life, my passion,
my prayers, they come together around this soul
and gather its words, its prayers,
its compassion for me, its tears and its offerings.

They unite them all to mine
and bring them before my majesty
to renew for me the glory of my own life.

The angels are so pleased
that in reverence they listen to what the soul says,
and pray together with it.

So, how attentive and respectful the soul must be
when it does the hours of my passion,
mindful that the angels hang on its lips
to repeat after it the things it is saying!

Glory be to the Father……

Ant. 3 With what attention and respect the soul must meditate on my passion.

SHORT READING Vol. XII, May 8, 1919

“Creatures were incapable of penetrating into my interior and make me suffer pains for the glory they had denied the Father by all the offenses committed in their interior. Even more so, because these wounded the most noble part of the creature which is the intellect, the memory and the will, where the divine image is sealed. So it was almost necessary for the divinity itself to assume this commitment and to be my loving executioner, to receive full satisfaction for all the sins committed in the interior of man.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, April 19, 1919

G. I did *everything that each soul was obligated to do toward its Creator.

E. I did *everything that each soul was obligated to do toward its Creator.

G. I had to give the Father glory, love and complete satisfaction for all
created things.

E. Everything that each soul was obligated to do toward its Creator.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. I did *everything that each soul was obligated to do toward its Creator.

Ant. of Praise In the passion that the divinity gave me I satisfied the Father for all the interior sins of man. (Vol. XII, May 8, 1919)

SONG OF PRAISE

Ant. of Praise
In the passion that the divinity gave me I satisfied the Father for all the interior sins of man.

INTERCESSIONS
+ Oh Jesus, by the power of your passion in us, turn all the weakness of our human will into strength and divine life: Come Divine Will, come to reign in us!

+ May we come to know the excesses of love of your interior passion: Come…

+ May we live all of our pains in your Will: Come…

+ May the light of the Divine Will embrace all our agonizing and deceased brother and sisters: Come…

OUR FATHER….

PRAYER

Oh Father, by the interior passion that our Lord Jesus Christ wanted to suffer for your love, grant us the grace to die forever to our human will to live always in your most holy Will.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Morning Prayer - Day of the Passion

INVITATORY

HYMN
Vol. X, February 8, 1911

O my Jesus, you are love, you are all love; and love
I want, love I desire, love I long for,
love I implore you, and love I beseech you!

Love invites you, love is my life,
love carries my heart away
to the bosom of my Lord.
Love inebriates me, love is my delight!

Only me, just for you,
only you, just for me!
Now that we are alone, let us speak of love.
Ah, make me understand how much you love me!

In your Will, in your love,
with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
with Mother Mary and Luisa,
eternal and divine love be to you, oh Jesus! Amen.

Ant. 1 When I created man, in an excess of love, I breathed my almighty Fiat into him, wanting to infuse my own life in him.

Psalm 1 Vol. XII, March 22, 1919

My daughter, look what harmony,
what order in all created things; and see
how they all received life from the eternal Fiat.

So, everything cost me a Fiat;
the smallest star as well as the shining sun,
the smallest plant as well as the largest tree,
the tiniest insect as well as the very greatest.

Oh, how eloquently creation speaks of the power of my Will,
and teaches that from the greatest thing
to the smallest, their value is the same
if they have life from the Divine Will,
and that the glory they give
to our Creator is all alike.

It was not so in the creation of man.
It is true that his origin is my Fiat,
but this was not enough for me.
In an excess of love I breathed into him,
wanting to infuse my own life in him.
I endowed him with reason, I made him free,
and established him king of all creation.

But, how did ungrateful man correspond to me?
Of all creation only he
has become the sorrow of my heart,
the note out of tune.

And then, what shall I say to you
about my work in the sanctification of souls?
Not just one Fiat,
not my breath have I placed at their disposal,
but my own life, my love, my wisdom.
And yet, how many refusals, how many defeats
does my love receive!

Ah, my child, take pity on my intense pain,
and come into my Will to make up to me
for the love of all the human family,
and to soothe my broken heart.

Glory be to the Father….

Ant. 1 When I created man, in an excess of love, I breathed my almighty Fiat into him, wanting to infuse my own life in him.

Ant. 2 The one to whom I spoke about my Will was the most preferred.

Psalm 2 Vol. XI, September 29, 1912

Lord, you spoke to one about your passion,
to another about your heart,
to another about your cross…
Who did you most prefer?

Do you know who was most preferred by me?
The soul to whom I manifested the wonders,
the power of my most holy Will.

All the other things are parts of me,
whereas, my Will is the center, the life
and the ruler of all.

So, my Will has directed the passion,
has given life to my heart,
has exalted the cross.

My Will embraces everything,
grasps everything and gives effect to everything.
So, my Will is more than everything.

Consequently, the soul to whom I have spoken
about my Will was the most preferred,
above all others.
Oh, how it should thank me
for having admitted it to the secrets of my Will!

Especially since the soul that is in my Will
is in my passion, in my heart;
it is all the beauty of my cross
and it is my same redemption.

There are no dissimilarities
between this soul and me.
So, I want you all in my Will,
if you want to take part in all my goods.

Glory be to the Father...

Ant. 2 The one to whom I spoke about my Will was the most preferred.

Ant. 3 The true consummation takes place in a simple way.

Psalm 3 Vol. XI, May 21, 1913

My child, I want the true consummation in you,
not imaginary, but true,
yet in a simple, attainable way.

Suppose a thought comes to you
that is not for me.
You must destroy it
and substitute it with the divine.

This way, you will have consumed
the human thought,
and will have acquired the life
of the divine thought.

Similarly, if the eyes want to look at something
that displeases me or that does not refer to me,
and the soul mortifies itself,
it has consumed the human eyes
and has acquired the eyes of the divine life;
and so on with all the rest of your being.

Oh, how I feel these new
divine lives flow in me.
They take part in everything I do.
I love these divine lives so much,
that for love of them I give in to everything!

These souls are the first before me;
and if I bless them,
the others are blessed through them.
They are the first to be favored and loved,
and through them the others
are provided for and loved.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. 3 The true consummation takes place in a simple way.

SHORT READING Vol. XI, May 9, 1912

“My child, if the human will doesn’t want anything but me alone, if the intellect is not occupied with anything but knowing me, if the memory does not call to mind anything but me alone: here you have consummated the three powers of the soul in love. Similarly with the senses: if you speak only of me, if you listen only to what regards me, if you relish only what is mine, if you work and walk only for me, if the heart loves only me, if the desires desire only me – here is the consummation of love formed in the senses. Love has a sweet enchantment that makes the soul happy, and that makes it blind to all that is not love, and makes it ‘all eyes’ to everything that is love.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XI, August 17, 1912

G. To think about oneself reduces the soul; on the contrary, whoever does
not think about himself, *gives me rightful honor.

E. To think about oneself reduces the soul; on the contrary, whoever does
not think about himself, *gives me rightful honor.

G. By thinking of me, it expands in my immensity;

E. *it gives me rightful honor.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. To think about oneself reduces the soul; on the contrary, whoever does
not think about himself, *gives me rightful honor.

Ant. of Thanksgiving My first passion was love, because when man sins, the first step that makes him fall into evil is the lack of love.
(Vol. XI, January 22, 1913)

SONG OF THANKSGIVING

Ant. of Thanksgiving
My first passion was love, because when man sins, the
first step that makes him fall into evil is the lack of love.

INTERCESSIONS
+ Lord, there is no higher point to which the creature can arrive than your Divine Will, so grant that everyone may take possession of it: Come Divine Will, come reign in us!

+ May the light of your Divine Will dispel the darkness of the human will, so that we can all return to the order, to the place and to the purpose for which we were created: Come…

+ So that all creatures will have no thought but that of doing your Will on earth as it is done in heaven: Come…

+ For all those who assist us, and for those who commend themselves to our prayers, that the Divine Will may give them its every good: Come…

OUR FATHER….

PRAYER

Holy Father, we ask you to make all creatures want to take the Divine Will as their own life, so that weaknesses, temptations, passions and miseries will come to an end, and the reign of your Will can have its primacy over everything and over everyone.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Night Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Eucharist

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.
E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father…..

HYMN Vol. XII, April 14, 1917

Oh, what deep roots
does the holiness of your Will
sink into the soul that lives in it,
all hidden in its God!

How stable it is, not subject to
inconstancy or to voluntary defects!
What attention to its own duties:
it is always the most sacrificed!

It rises up so high,
that its flowers and its fruits
all blossom in heaven,
and are the joy of paradise!

It holds everything in common with you, oh Jesus,
it has nothing of its own.
Its only passion is the Divine Will,
and the divine Fiat is its continuous motion! Amen.

Ant. Love has its anxieties; the Divine Will, on the contrary, is rest.

Psalm Vol. XI, April 10, 1914

Love has its anxieties,
its desires, its fervor, its restlessness;
my Will, on the contrary, is unending rest.

Do you know why?
Because love contains the beginning, the means
and the end of the work.

So, to bring a work to completion
anxieties and restlessness arise,
and much bitterness and imperfection
are mixed in with them.

And if my Will and love are not joined
little by little, poor love:
how dishonored it is,
even in the greatest and holiest works.

On the contrary, my Will works in one simple act:
the soul leaves all the activity
of the work to my Will;
so, while my Will works, the soul rests.

My Will acts in the soul, not the soul.
The result is there are neither anxieties
nor restlessness,
and the work is free from any imperfection.

Glory be to the Father….

Ant. Love has its anxieties; the Divine Will, on the contrary, is rest.

SHORT READING Vol. XI, August 24, 1915

“How can those words I said when creating man, be explained: Let us make man to our image and likeness? How could the creature, so incapable, ever resemble me and be my image? Only in my Will could it achieve that, since by taking possession of it, it works in the divine way; and by repeating these divine acts it acquires my likeness, and becomes my perfect image. So, the only thing that makes man resemble me is my Will. This is why I am so interested that the creature take possession of it, and fulfill the true purpose for which it was created.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XI, April 23, 1912

G. I have everything ordered for the creature, so *the creature should
order all things for me and in me.

E. I have everything ordered for the creature, so *the creature should
order all things for me and in me.

G. True holiness, - the Divine Will - is in doing my Will; it makes all things
be in order.

E. *the creature should order all things for me and in me.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. I have everything ordered for the creature, so *the creature should
order all things for me and in me.

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

Canticle (Spiritual testament of Luisa)

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

PRAYER
Oh Father, together with Jesus let us embrace all creatures in your Will, to give them your embrace of love and to take them to your divine bosom so that you may receive the love and the adoration that everyone should give you.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

May the Lord put an end to the night of the human will, and let us rest in the divine. Amen.

Week 2 - Evening Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Eucharist

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father…..

HYMN Vol. XII, May 28, 1920

Oh, how the acts done
in your most holy Will
enter into the sphere of eternity
and take the first places there!

It makes no difference
if they were done in one age or another,
if they are small or great;
it is enough for them to have been done in your Will!

What supremacy they have over everyone!
They become light in the eternal light
and so they leave everything behind,
being the first among all!

Glory, love and reparation
to you, supreme Majesty,
in the name of all men,
in our most holy Will! Amen.

Ant. 1 The souls that do my Will are queens.

Psalm 1 Vol. XI, March 15, 1912

My Will is the holiness of holinesses.
Consequently, the soul that does my Will according to the
perfection that I am teaching you,
that is, as on earth as it is in heaven,

for however small, ignorant and ignored it may be,
leaves behind even other saints
in spite of the wonders, the most striking conversions
and the miracles worked by them.

What is more, in a comparison, the souls that do my Will
as it is done in my third Fiat, are queens,
and all the others are as if they were in their service.

The soul that does my Will,
seems to be doing nothing, yet it does everything.
Because, being in my Will,
these souls act in the divine way,
hiddenly and in an astonishing way.

So, they are light that illuminates,
winds that purify, fire that burns,
miracles that make miracles be done.
In reality, those that do them are channels,
whereas in these souls there resides the power.

They are the feet of the missionary
and the tongue of the preacher,
the strength of the weak and the patience of the sick,
the discipline of the superiors
and the obedience of the subjects,
the tolerance of the slandered
and the firmness of the wavering.

They are the heroism of the heroes,
the courage of the martyrs,
the holiness of the saints,
and so on with all the rest;
because, being in my Will
they concur in all the good that can exist,
both in heaven and on earth.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant.1 The souls that do my Will are queens.

Ant.2 To be true, love must receive life and nourishment from the Divine Will.

Psalm 2 Vol. Xl, August 28, 1912

The other virtues,
for however high and sublime;
always show the differences
between the creature and the Creator.

Love is the only one that transforms the soul in God.
But true love cannot exist
unless it receives life and nourishment from my Will.

So, my Will united to love
is that which forms
the true transformation into me.

By being in continual contact
with my power, my holiness
and all that I am,
the soul can say that it is another me.

All is precious, all is holy for this soul.
It can be said that its breath,
the contact with the earth it walks upon,
are precious and holy,
because they are none other than the effects of my Will.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. 2 To be true, love must receive life and nourishment from the Divine Will.

Ant. 3 In order to forget itself, the soul must do all things because it is Jesus himself who wants to do everything in it.

Psalm 3 Vol. XI, August 14, 1912

For the soul to be able to forget itself
in everything that it does and that is necessary for it,
it must do it as if I wanted to do it in the soul.

If it prays, it should say,
“It is Jesus who wants to pray,
and I am praying together with him.”

If it must work, “It is Jesus who wants to work;
it is Jesus who wants to walk, who wants to eat,
who wants to sleep, who wants to get up,
who wants to enjoy himself,”
and so on with all the other activities of life,
except the mistakes.

The hidden life I lived in Nazareth
is not taken into account by men,
whereas, after my passion,
nothing could have done them more good than that.

By lowering myself to all those little actions
and to those things that men do in their daily life,
such as eating, sleeping, drinking, working,
lighting the fire, sweeping, etc.
- all are acts that no one can do without –
I made a little, divine coin of immense value
flow in their souls.

So, if my passion redeemed them,
my hidden life provided every human action,
even the most indifferent,
with divine merit and infinite value.

Glory be to the Father……

Ant.3 In order to forget itself, the soul must do all things because it is Jesus himself that wants to do everything in it.

SHORT READING Vol. XI, August 24, 1915

“My child, if you want to love me for everyone, do so in my Will, because
(containing the creative power) it is able to multiply an act into as many acts as one wants. And so your love will flow in my Will; and since my Will fills heaven and earth, I will hear your “I love you” repeated to me in heaven, around me, within me, on earth. From all over, it will multiply into as many acts of love as my Will can do. So, it can satisfy me for the love of everyone, because the creature is limited and finite, while my Will is immense and infinite.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XI, September 2, 1912

G. The soul that is unconcerned about its own well-being, and is occupied
only with loving me, takes care of me; *and I fill it all with myself.

E. The soul that is unconcerned about its own well-being, and is occupied
only with loving me, takes care of me; *and I fill it all with myself.

G. Self-reflections curve the soul; and the more it looks at itself, the more
human it becomes; while the more it looks at me, the more divine it
becomes.

E. *and I fill it all with myself.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. The soul that is unconcerned about its own well-being, and is occupied
only with loving me, takes care of me; *and I fill it all with myself.

Ant. of Praise My child, till now I have not manifested to anyone the things I have said to you about my Will and about the sublime and
indescribable effects that it contains. (Vol. XI, September 12, 1913)

SONG OF PRAISE

Ant. of Praise
My child, till now I have not manifested to anyone the things I have said to you about my Will and about the sublime and indescribable effects that it contains.

INTERCESSIONS
+ Lord, may all men welcome triumph of your Fiat Voluntas Tua, with a generous and well-disposed heart: Come Divine Will, come to reign in us!

+ May all the Church, under the infallible guidance of the pope, come to live always in the Kingdom of the Divine Will: Come…

+ That the ideal of God’s glory alone and the salvation of souls will always shine in every priest: Come…

+ May the suffering church receive the immense goods that are enclosed in the Kingdom of the Divine Will: Come…

OUR FATHER….

PRAYER

Oh Father, prostrate in our nothingness, we implore you to make us always live immersed in your most holy Will, so that heaven and earth may be filled with our adorations and with our love, and you may receive all the glory that you have been waiting to receive from us from all eternity.
Through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Morning Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Eucharist

INVITATORY

HYMN
Vol. XII, March 28, 1917; December 27, 1918

What sweetness descends into my heart
with every love-filled word you say,
because there is no word more beautiful
than your “I love you” for me!

More than a majestic sun
your word of light rises,
illuminating the minds of men,
and inflaming every heart to love you!

It descends into hearts
and creates every good there.
It pours out graces of conversion,
it transforms, sanctifies and consumes;
everything receives life from it!

It fills the heavens and the earth
with love and with light;
everyone receives new glory and splendor;
in the unity of the light of your Will,
we give you thanks with your same word of love! Amen.

Ant. 1 Whoever lives in the Will of God receives the true, eternal communion with its complete fruit.

Psalm 1 Vol. XI, August 20, 1913

The soul that does my Will can say,
“My life is finished; the works,
the thoughts, the words that come from me
will not be mine any more.
Instead they will be the works,
the thoughts and the words
of him whose Will is my life.”

So, I say to whoever does my Will,
“You are my life, my blood, my bones;”
in such a way that the true,
real, sacramental transformation takes place –
not in virtue of the words of the priest –
but in the virtue of my Will.

As the soul decides to live by my Will,
so it is that my Will creates
my own self in the soul.

And as my Will flows in the will,
in the works and in the steps of the soul,
so many creations of mine, does it undergo.

Exactly the same thing happens
as it does with a ciborium
full of consecrated particles:
for as many particles as there are,
there are also as many Jesus’ in each particle.

So it is with the soul; in virtue of my Will,
it contains me in the whole,
and in each part of its being.

Glory be to the Father….

Ant. 1 Whoever lives in the Will of God receives the true, eternal communion with its complete fruit.

Ant. 2 My Will is communion which becomes eternal in heaven.

Psalm 2 Vol. IX, March 23, 1910

My child, I urge you
not to go out of my Will,
because my Will contains such power
as to be a new baptism for the soul.

In truth, it is more than baptism itself,
because in the sacraments there is part of my grace,
whereas in my Will
there is all the fullness of grace.

In baptism, the stain of original sin is taken away,
but the passions and the weaknesses remain.

In my Will, by destroying its own will,
the soul destroys the passions, the weaknesses
and everything that is merely human,
to live by the virtues, by the strength
and by all the divine qualities.

My Will is certainly more than the sacramental communion,
which lasts a few minutes.
On the contrary, my Will
is a lasting communion, even eternal,
which becomes eternal in heaven.

Sacramental communion is subject to various difficulties:
because of sickness, or some necessity,
or on the part of whoever administers it;
whereas the communion of my Will
is not subject to any impediment.
If the soul wants it, all is done.

No one can stop such a great good
that forms the happiness of the earth and of heaven:
neither the demons, nor creatures
nor my own almightiness.

When I succeed in getting the soul to live in my Will,
I feel triumphant because this encloses
the greatest good that can exist
in heaven and on earth.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. 2 My Will is communion which becomes eternal in heaven.

Ant. 3 My Will is sacrament, and surpasses all the sacraments together.

Psalm 3 Vol. XII, December 26, 1919

Why are the sacraments called sacraments?
Because they are sacred;
they have the value and the power
to confer grace, holiness.

But these sacraments act
according to the disposition of creatures,
so much so, that many times they even remain unfruitful,
unable to confer the goods they contain.

Now, my Will is sacred and holy,
and it contains the virtue of all the sacraments together.
Furthermore, it doesn’t have to work to dispose the soul
to receive the goods that my Will contains.

As soon as the soul has disposed itself,
my Will, finding everything prepared and disposed –
even at the cost of any sacrifice –
communicates itself without delay to the soul,
pouring out the goods that it contains,
and forms the heroes, the martyrs of the Divine Will,
the most unheard-of wonders.

Then, what do the sacraments do,
if not unite the soul with God?
What does it mean to do my Will?

Isn’t it perhaps, to unite the will of the creature
with its Creator?
To lose oneself in the eternal Will?
The nothingness that ascends to the All;
the All that descends into the nothingness?

It is the most noble act,
the most divine, the most pure, the most beautiful,
and the most heroic that the creature can do.

Yes, I confirm it and I repeat it to you:
my Will is sacrament,
and it surpasses all the sacraments together,
but in a more wonderful way,
without any intermediary, without any matter.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. 3 My Will is sacrament, and surpasses all the sacraments together.

SHORT READING Vol. XII, December 22, 1920

“Just the word ‘Will of God’ contains the creative power, so it has the power to create, transform, consume and make flow in the soul great new streams of light, of love and of holiness. The creative power is found only in the divine Fiat; and if the priest consecrates me in the host it is because my
Will gave the power to those words that are said over the holy host to consecrate it. So, everything goes forth from the divine Fiat and is found in it. And if the mere thought of doing my Will soothes the soul and makes it feel strong and changed, what will happen when it does it?”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, June 10, 1920

G. As the soul enters my Will, *it becomes bound to my eternal Will.

E. As the soul enters my Will, *it becomes bound to my eternal Will.

G. And even though the soul does not think about it, its will does
everything mine does, and it runs together with me, for the good of all
creatures.

E. *It is bound to my eternal Will.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. As the soul enters my Will, *it becomes bound to my eternal Will.

Ant. of Thanksgiving The sacrament of my Will is formed between my Will and that of the soul. (Vol. XIII, December 26, 1919)

SONG OF THANKSGIVING

Ant. of Thanksgiving
The sacrament of my Will is formed between my Will
and that of the soul.

INTERCESSIONS
+ Oh Jesus, make our trust in you become infinite, and in this way fill your heart with joy: Come Divine Will, come reign in us!

+ May the supreme Fiat become the prime mover of all of the creature’s acts: Come…

+ With our love for you in the Divine Will, grant that we may soon fill the voids of love caused by all the acts of creatures done without love: Come…

+ For all those who assist us, and for those who commend themselves to our prayers, that the divine Will may give them its every good: Come…

OUR FATHER….

PRAYER

Oh Lord, we ask you to make us always live lost in your eternal Will, so that our nothingness can ascend to the All and the All can descend into our nothingness, and so form in us the sacrament of your Will.
Though Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Night Prayer - Day of St. Joseph

G. O God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father…..

HYMN Vol. XII, January 9, 1920

O holy and eternal Majesty,
I bow down at your feet
in the name of all the human family,
from the first to the last man!

In your supreme Will,
where everything is immense and eternal,
I find the love that I want
to be able to love you for everyone!

I want my love
and all my acts
to be complete and full,
and to love you for everyone and for me!

Always and in every instant I want them
to adore you profoundly for everyone,
and to recognize you for everyone
as the absolute Creator and ruler of all! Amen.

Ant. Whoever leaves everything and acts only for me does not feel the sting of annoyances in his heart.

Psalm Vol. X, February 10, 1911

Whoever leaves everything for me,
and loves everything divinely,
has all things at his disposal.

The sign to know if someone
has left everything for me and has succeeded
in doing and loving everything divinely,
is if when he acts, or speaks, or prays,
or does anything else,
he no longer finds obstacles,
annoyances, differences or oppositions.

Because, before this power
of doing and of loving everything divinely,
everyone bows his head
and doesn’t even dare to breathe.

As a loving Father,
I am always watching over the human heart.
And seeing it slip away from me,
that is, acting and loving in a human way,
I put thorns, annoyances, and bitternesses there
that sting and annoy that human work
and that human love.

Then the soul, feeling itself pricked,
realizing that its way of acting is not divine,
enters into itself and acts in a divine way.

Because stings are the sentinels of the human heart
that provide eyes
to make it see who is moving it:
God or the creature.

It is quite different when the soul leaves everything,
acting and loving everything in a divine way,
and enjoys my peace.

Then, instead of having the watchful guards
and the eyes of the stings,
it has the sentinel of peace
that drives away anything that could disturb it,
and the eyes of love that scatter
and burn those who want to disturb it.

Glory be to the Father…..

Ant. Whoever leaves everything and acts only for me does not feel the sting of annoyances in his heart.

SHORT READING Vol. X, November 23, 1910

“My children, love encloses everything, enchains everything, gives life to everything, triumphs over all, beautifies everything and enriches everything. So, it can be said that love is patience, love is obedience, it is sweetness, it is strength, it is peace, it is everything. So, if all the virtues do not have their life from love, at the most they can be called natural virtues, whereas love changes them into divine virtues. Oh, what a difference between the two! The natural virtues are servants, and the divine are queens. So, in all things, let love be enough for you.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, December 26, 1919

G. As you repeat what I have taught you, I feel wounded by my own love.
*If you love me, wound me always.

E. As you repeat what I have taught you, I feel wounded by my own love.
*If you love me, wound me always.

G. Even by just remembering my words and teachings, you wound me.

E. *If you love me, wound me always.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. As you repeat what I have taught you, I feel wounded by my own love.
*If you love me, wound me always.

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed.

Canticle (Spiritual testament of Luisa)

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed.

PRAYER
Lord, grant us to take all of your love in your Will, to love you with your same love for everyone, and to satisfy and make reparation for all the glory and love that all creatures should give you.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

May the Lord put an end to the night of the human will, and let us rest in the divine. Amen.

Week 2 - Evening Prayer - Day of St. Joseph

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father...

HYMN Vol. X, February 8, 1911

O my Jesus, my good, my all, unquenchable love,
eternal love, I feel I am fainting from love; hold
me in your arms!

Enclose me in your heart, and from within your
heart let me also vent my love,
otherwise I will die of love!

With love I am delirious, with love I burn,
with love I celebrate, with love I yearn.
Love gives me death, and to new life
makes my soul arise more beautiful!

My life vanishes and I only feel
the life of Jesus, my love.
With my heart in his,
I feel immersed in love! Amen.

Ant. 1 I want to consume the creature in the supreme unity of my Will.

Psalm 1 Vol. IX, November 1, 1910

The supreme unity takes place when the soul reaches
such a close union with my Will
that any shadow of its own will is consumed,
in such a way that in this soul you can no longer discern
which is my Will and which is the soul’s.

So, my Will becomes its life; and the soul is content
with whatever my Will disposes,
both for itself as well as for the others.

Everything seems suitable to it:
death, life, the cross, poverty, ….everything.

This soul reaches the point
that even chastisements don’t frighten it anymore,
but in all things it is content with the Divine Will.

There is no greater power in heaven or on earth,
than a soul that in all things and in every way
is consumed in my Will.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 I want to consume the creature in the supreme unity of my Will.

Ant. 2 The soul that approaches me full of trust, captivates my heart and overwhelms me with joy.

Psalm 2 Vol. X, May 19, 1911

How pleased I am when the soul
forgets itself and its miseries,
and instead only occupies itself with me
my sorrows, my bitternesses and my love -,
and with all confidence remains with me.

This confidence captivates my heart and overwhelms me
with such joy, that just as the soul forgets all about itself
for me, so do I forget everything for the soul,
and I make it one with me,
even to the point not only of giving to it,
but of letting it take what it wants.

On the contrary, if a soul does not forget
everything for me, even its miseries,
and wants to be near me with all respect and fear,
with timid restraint and all apprehensive,
and without the confidence that enraptures my heart,

I cannot give it anything,
nor can the soul take anything
because it lacks the key of confidence,
of being at ease and of simplicity;
all of which are necessary,
for me to give and for the soul to take.

So with its miseries it comes,
and with its miseries it remains.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 The soul that approaches me full of trust, captivates my heart and overwhelms me with joy.

Ant. 3 Everything that the soul does together with me and in my Will, becomes the soul’s, just as it is mine.

Psalm 3 Vol. XI, September 21, 1913

Everything that the soul does
in my Will and together with me –
prayers, actions, steps …. –
acquire my own qualities,
my own life and the same values.

Everything that I did upon the earth
- prayers, sufferings, works…. - is all in act,
and will be eternally
for the good of whoever wants it.

My way of working differs from the creature’s way.
I possess the creative power in myself;
so, as I speak I create,
just as one day I spoke and created the sun.

This sun is always full of light and of heat,
and always gives light and heat
as if it were in the act of receiving
its continuous creation from me
without ever losing any of it.

Possessing the creative power in myself,
this is how I worked when I was upon the earth:
Just as the sun is in the continuous act of giving light,
so too, the prayers I prayed,
my steps, my works, my blood,
all are in the continuous act
of praying, of working, of walking…..

So, my prayers continue,
my steps are always in the act of running

after souls, and so on with the rest.
Otherwise, what great difference would there be
between my way of working and that of the saints?

Therefore, my child, a very beautiful, wonderful thing,
and not yet understood by creatures,
is that all the things the soul does together with me
and in my Will,
become the soul’s, just as they are mine.

The connection with my Will,
and working together with me,
makes it participate in my own creative power.
And if anyone does not understand this,
it can be said he doesn’t know me.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 3 Everything that the soul does together with me and in my Will, becomes the soul’s, just as it is mine.

SHORT READING Vol. X, October 14, 1911

“Oh, how few there are who base their life all on love! My child, make it known to everyone you can that everything is in love, the necessity of love; and that everything that is not love, even holy things, instead of making them go forward it makes them go backward. Let your mission be to teach the true life of love where there is all the beauty of creatures, and all the beauty that they can give me.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. X, October 26, 1911

G. Don’t you know that *love as well is a necessity in me, and that I need it
more than anything else?

E. Don’t you know that *love as well is a necessity in me, and that I need
it more than anything else?

G. I can vent my love and my sweetness only with someone who loves me
and is all love for me.

E. *love as well is a necessity in me, and that I need it more than anything
else.

G. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. Don’t you know that *love as well is a necessity in me, and that I need it
more than anything else?

Week 2 - Morning Prayer - Day of St. Joseph

INVITATORY

HYMN
Vol. X, February 8, 1911

O, unquenchable love, my all, if you want love, you
give me love; if you want to make me happy,
you speak to me of love!

If you want to make me content, you give me love,
you fill me with love, you envelop me with love
and you carry me to the throne of my Maker!

Love points out to me uncreated Wisdom
and leads me to eternal love
and there has me make my home!

I will live life of love in your heart;
I will love you for everyone,
I will love you with everyone,
and in everyone, oh my Jesus! Amen.

Ant. 1 My all-powerful Fiat contains the creative power.

Psalm 1 Vol. XII, February 2, 1921

From within a single Fiat of mine,
billions and billions of stars came forth.
From the Fiat mihi ¹ of my mother,
from which my redemption originated,
there come billions of acts of grace
that are communicated to souls.

These acts of grace are more beautiful, more radiant and
more multiform than the stars. And while the stars are
fixed and cannot be multiplied, these acts of grace are
multiplied to the infinite; in every instant they run, attracting
creatures, making them happy, strengthening
them and giving them life.

____________________________
1 - Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum: Let it be done to me according to your word (Lk 1,38).

Oh, if creatures could see the supernaturality of grace,
they would feel such harmony and would see such an
enchanting spectacle as to believe they were in paradise.

Now, the third Fiat ² as well must run together
with the other two Fiats.
It must multiply itself to the infinite in every instant.

It must produce an act for every act of grace
that comes forth from my bosom,
for every star, for every drop of water
and for every created thing
that the Fiat of Creation brought forth.
It must blend with them and say,
“For as many acts as you are, I do as many more.”

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 My all-powerful Fiat contains the creative power.

Ant. 2 Whoever lives in the Divine Will disappears; it is the Fiat that does everything.

Psalm 2 Vol. XII, February 2, 1921

These three Fiats have the same value and power.
You disappear; it is the Fiat that acts.
So, in my all-powerful Fiat you too can say,
“I want to create enough love,
enough adorations, enough blessings
and enough glory for my God,
to make up for everyone and for everything.”

Your acts will fill heaven and earth.
They will multiply together with the acts of creation and of redemption, and become one with them.

_______________________________
² See the “Hymn” on page 83 - Day of the Passion – Evening Prayer

All this will seem astonishing and unbelievable to some,
but then they would be putting
my creative power in doubt.
Then, when it is I who want it
and who give this power, every doubt ceases.

Am I perhaps not free to do what I want
and to give to whom I want?
For your part, be attentive; I will be with you.
I will overshadow you with my creative power
and will fulfill that which I want upon you.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 Whoever lives in the Divine Will disappears; it is the Fiat that does everything.

Ant. 3 I am preparing an era of love; the era of my third Fiat!

Psalm 3 Vol. XII, February 8, 1921

Ah, the creature is always more violent in evil it does.
How many machines of ruin they are preparing!
They will go so far as to exhaust evil itself.

But while they are busy
making their way,
I will be working to make my Fiat Voluntas Tua ³
have its completion and fulfillment,
that my Will reign upon the earth,
but in a way that is all new.

I will be busy preparing
the era of the third Fiat,
in which my love will display itself
in a marvelous and unheard-of way.
Oh, yes! I want to completely confound man in love.
So, be attentive and let us work together.
I want you with me to prepare this era
of heavenly and divine love.

³ Your Will be done.

Oh wicked world!
You are doing everything to drive me
from the face of the earth,
to banish me from society, from the schools,
from conversations, from everything,
while I am preparing you an era of love:
the era of my third Fiat.

You will make your way, to banish me,
and I will confound you with love.
I will follow you from behind,
I will go before you to meet you,
to confound you in love.

And where you have banished me
I will establish my throne,
and I will reign there more than before,
but in a very surprising way;
so much so, that you yourself
will fall at the foot of my throne,
bound as it were, by the force of my love.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 3 I am preparing an era of love: the era of my third Fiat!

SHORT READING Vol. XI, March 15, 1912

“My daughter, the pleasure I receive from my Will is so great that I am overjoyed when I just hear it spoken of, and I call all heaven to celebrate it. Just imagine what it will be like for those souls that do it. I find all delights in them, and give all delights to them. Their life is the life of the blessed. They have only two things at heart: they desire, they long for my Will and love. They have little else to do, and meanwhile they do everything.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, February 13, 1919

G. Can I perhaps not give what is mine to whom I want? *This is what
satisfies me the most: to give everything!

E. Can I perhaps not give what is mine to whom I want? *This is what
satisfies me the most: to give everything!

G. And if the soul does not correspond to me and does not accept it, it
makes me discontented.

E. *This is what satisfies me the most: to give everything!

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. Can I perhaps not give what is mine to whom I want? *This is what
satisfies me the most: to give everything!

+ May our hard hearts be softened, and open to the light of the truth: Divine…

OUR FATHER…

PRAYER

Oh Lord, you pronounced your all-powerful Fiat to make all of creation, to redeem us and to return to us the holiness that from the beginning of the creation you wanted to give us. We ask you to hurry the coming of your Kingdom on earth, so that finally your Will will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Night Prayer - Day of the Angels

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father...

HYMN Vol. XII, January 9, 1920

Oh, God, how you pour yourself out upon man,
in great streams in every created thing,
giving him your eternal kiss
and offering him your immense love!

When you were creating the sun,
you put oceans of love
into each drop of light,
to flood the eye of man!

With its light and heat
you made the plants,
the flowers and fruits fertile;
and your seas of love ran
to nourish man with your love!

In each created thing, in everything,
you offered your love to man,
darting your creature,
almost impatient to receive its love!

You have done everything for man,
to love him and play with him,
in the immense and divine glory
of your most holy Will! Amen.

Ant. I make whoever lives in my Will do everything, and I give him everything.

Psalm Vol. XII, December 6, 1917

My child, how sweet it is for me to see,
to feel the soul in my Will!

Without noticing it, the soul finds itself
at the height of my acts, of my prayers,
of the way I did things when I was on this earth,
placing itself almost at my level.

In my smallest acts I included all creatures -
past, present and future - ,
to offer the Father complete acts
in the name of all creatures.

There was nothing I did not enclose in me;
I did not even let a breath of the creature escape me.
Otherwise, the Father
would have been able to find exceptions,
if creatures and all their acts were not done by me
and did not come forth from me.

He would have been able to say to me,
“You have not done everything and for everyone;
your work is not complete.
I cannot recognize everyone
because you have not reincorporated them in yourself,
and I want to recognize only that which you have done.”

So, in the immensity of my Will,
of my love and my power,
I did everything and for everyone.

So, how could other things ever please me,
for however beautiful they may be, outside my Will?
They are always lowly, human, and limited acts.

Instead, the acts done in my Will are similar to mine,
and I give them the same value,
love and power as my own acts.

I multiply them in everyone;
I extend them to all generations, to all times.
What does it matter that they are small?
They are always my acts that are repeated
and this is enough.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. I make whoever lives in my Will do everything, and I give him
everything.

SHORT READING Vol. XII, June 14, 1917

“My child, the more the soul strips itself of itself, the more I clothe it with myself. The more it believes it can do nothing, the more I act in it and do everything. I feel the creature putting into act all my love, my prayers, my reparations, and so on. This stripping itself and this love of the soul, which is mine, tie me and force me to do together with the soul what it wants to do; and I give it the merit of my love, my prayers and my reparations. I am most pleased as I feel my life repeated; and I make the effects of what I do descend upon everyone for their good, because it is not the work of the creature, which is hidden in me, but mine.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, December 6, 1917

G. The soul that puts itself in its true nothingness, *enters into the All and
works with me, in me and as I do.

E. The soul that puts itself in its true nothingness, *enters into the All and
works with me, in me and as I do.

G. All stripped of itself, not caring about merits or its own interests,

E. *it enters into the All and works with me, in me and as I do.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E . The soul that puts itself in its true nothingness, *enters into the All and
works with me, in me and as I do.

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

PRAYER
Oh holy Divine Will, enclose us in yourself and make us live all immersed in your oceans of light, of life and of love, where we will make all your power and your love ours, so you can find in us your rest and your own life that loves you.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

May the Lord put an end to the night of the human will, and let us rest in the divine. Amen.

Week 2 - Evening Prayer - Day of the Angels

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father...

HYMN Vol. XII, May 23, 1918

My dove, who could tell you about
the flights that you make in my Will,
the space that you cover, the air that you
breathe, the hearts that you touch,
the love that you give me!

No one, no one, not even yourself.
Only I, I alone can describe them,
because I measure the fibers of your heart.
I number the flights of your thoughts
and of your heartbeats!

Do not stop. Run, fly faster,
knock again and again, to make me be loved!
Continue to fly over; and upon your wings,
take my “I love you” to other hearts!

Then, in a single flight come into my heart,
refresh yourself and continue your flight!
I leave you the shadow of my Will,
the breath of my Will, the fire of my love! Amen.

Ant. 1 How I wish that everyone understood what true holiness is; then everything else would disappear!

Psalm 1 Vol. XII, August 14, 1917

To live in the Divine Will
means to live inseparably by God,
not to do anything by yourself,
because in the presence of the Divine Will
the soul feels incapable of everything.

It does not ask for orders nor does it receive them,
because it feels unable to go alone;
and it says, “If you want me to do it,
let us do it together; and if you want me to go,
let us go together.”

So, it does everything the Father does;
if the Father thinks,
it makes the Father’s thoughts its own,
without thinking one thought more
than the Father thinks.

If the Father looks, talks, works,
walks, suffers, or loves,
the soul also looks at what the Father looks at,
repeats the words of the Father,
works in the hands of the Father,
loves with the love of the Father
and lives not outside but inside the Father.

So, the soul is the reflection
and the perfect portrait of the Father,
which is not so for someone
who lives only resigned.

It is impossible to find this soul without the Father,
or the Father without this soul.

Not only the exterior,
but all the interior of this soul as well is seen
as it were, interwoven with the interior of the Father,
transformed, dissolved all in God.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 How I wish that everyone understood what true holiness is; then everything else would disappear!

Ant. 2 Whoever lives in the Divine Will, after having done everything, says, “I have done nothing; Jesus has done it all.”

Psalm 2 Vol. XII, August 14, 1917

Oh, how rapid and lofty are the flights of this soul
in the Divine Will!
This Divine Will is immense;
in every instant it circulates in everyone,
and gives life and order to everything.

Passing through this immensity
the soul flies to everyone, loves everyone
and helps everyone with the same love
with which Jesus himself helps and loves everyone.
Someone who lives only resigned cannot do this.

So, whoever lives in the Divine Will
finds it impossible to act alone.
What is more, it feels nausea
of its human way of doing things, even if holy.

Because in the Divine Will all things,
even the smallest, take on another aspect,
acquiring nobility, splendor, divine holiness,
power and divine beauty.
They multiply to the infinite
and in an instant they do everything.

After the soul has done everything, it says,
“I have done nothing; it was Jesus who did it.
And I am just delighted because, in spite of my misery,
Jesus has honored me by keeping me in his Divine Will
to have me do what he has done.”

So, the enemy cannot trouble this soul
with thoughts about whether
it has done well or poorly, much or little,
because it was Jesus who did everything
and the soul together with Jesus.

It is the most peaceful, not subject to anxiety.
It loves no one and it loves everyone, but divinely.
It can be said that it is the repeater of Jesus’ life,
the ringing of his voice, the beat of his heart,
the sea of his graces.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 Whoever lives in the Divine Will, after having done everything, says, “I have done nothing; Jesus has done it all.”

Ant. 3 True holiness is in the living in my Will.

Psalm 3 Vol. XII, August 14, 1917

Oh, how I want to make known to everyone
that true holiness is in doing my Will
and living in the Divine Will!

This holiness puts forth such deep roots
that there is no danger of it wavering,
because it fills heaven and earth
and finds its support everywhere.

It is firm, not subject to inconstancy
or to voluntary defects. It is attentive
to its duties, it is the most sacrificed,
detached from everyone and from everything,
even from spiritual direction itself.

Since the roots are deep, it grows so tall
that its flowers and fruit flourish in heaven;
and it is so hidden in God that the earth sees little
or nothing of this soul.

The Divine Will keeps it absorbed in itself.
Jesus alone is the life, the craftsman
and the form of the holiness of this enviable creature,
that has nothing of its own
because it holds everything in common with Jesus.

Its passion is the Divine Will;
its characteristic, the Will if its Jesus;
and the Fiat is its continuous movement.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 3 True holiness is in the living in my Will.

SHORT READING Vol. XII, February 27, 1919

“Freedom, freedom! Everyone come into my Will and you will enjoy true freedom. Outside my Will how many obstacles does the soul meet with, while in my Will it is free. I leave it free to love me as it wants; indeed I say to the soul, ‘Leave your human clothing and take the divine. I am not greedy or jealous with my goods. I want you to take everything. Love me immensely. Take, take all my love and make it yours. Take my power, my beauty and make them yours. The more you take, the happier your Jesus will be.’ ”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XI, September 6, 1912

G. I am with souls, both inside and outside of them, but who experiences
the effects? *Whoever brings his will close to mine.

E. I am with souls, both inside and outside of them, but who experiences
the effects? *Whoever brings his will close to mine.

G. Whoever calls me, prays, and knows my power and the good that I can
do to him.

E. *Whoever brings his will close to mine.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E . I am with souls, both inside and outside of them, but who experiences
the effects? *Whoever brings his will close to mine.

Ant. of Praise I want the true consummation of the soul in my Will, not imaginary but true; in a simple and practicable way.
(Vol. XI, May 25, 1913)

SONG OF PRAISE

Ant. of Praise
I want the true consummation of the soul in my Will, not
imaginary but true; in a simple and practicable way.

INTERCESSIONS
+ Holy Father, grant that your Will cast its deepest roots in us, so that we can rise up to your supreme throne to adore, thank, make reparation and love you for everyone and everything: Come Divine Will, come to reign in us!

+ So that our whole life will be none other than the repetition of Jesus’ own life: Come …

+ So that the order and harmony of the Divine Will will prevail over all, and hurry the coming of the Kingdom of your Will: Come …

+ May the light of the Divine Will embrace all our agonizing and deceased brothers and sisters: Come…

OUR FATHER…

PRAYER

O Holy Father, grant us always to live in our nothingness, so that stripped of our human will and dressed in your most holy Will, we can love you and thank you for everything and for everyone, just as you wanted us to , from the beginning of creation.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Week 2 - Morning Prayer - Day of the Angels

INVITATORY

HYMN
Vol. X, February 8, 1911

Do you want to hear love? All creation says to you, love.
If the stars shine they say to you, love.
Upon the wings of the wind
it is love that runs!

If the sun rises it gilds you with love;
if it shines with all its light
in the fullness of midday,
arrows of love it sends to your heart!

If the waters murmur
I extend my arms to you;
if the leaves move, I press you to my heart;
if the flowers smell sweet,
they delight you with love!

All creation in mute language
says to your heart;
I want nothing from you but life of love!

Love I want, love I desire,
love I beg from within your heart;
I am only content if you give me love! Amen.

Ant. 1 In love there can be many imperfections; in the Divine Will on the contrary, everything is perfect.

Psalm 1 Vol. IX, March 12, 1910

My Will perfects love, modifies it, restricts it;
it expands it in that which is holier and more perfect.

Love sometimes would like to run away
and devour everything
My Will subdues love and says,
“Wait, don’t break away,
because by running loose you could hurt yourself,
and by wanting to devour everything
you could make a mistake.

Love is as pure
for as much as it is conformed to my Will.
They walk together and continually
exchange the kiss of peace.

Only then is love safe,
when it is enclosed in my Will.
So then, love makes the soul appreciate and desire,
love becomes foolhardy and excessive;

my Will tempers and calms this same love,
and nourishes the loving soul
with more solid and divine food.

Love however, is none other than
the firstborn daughter of my Will,
yet it must always be looked after by my Will,
and I love it as much as myself.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 In love there can be many imperfections; in the Divine Will on the contrary, everything is perfect.

Ant. 2 With the divine views the cross becomes light, and the soul finds light and sweetness in it.

Psalm 2 Vol. IX, November 20,1909

Whoever takes up the cross with human views
finds it muddy
and so, heavier and bitter.

On the contrary, whoever takes up the cross
according to the divine views,
finds it full of light, light and sweet.

The human views are lacking graces, strength and light;
so the soul feels the boldness to say,
“Why did that person do that wrong to me?
Why did this other cause me this trouble,
why did he slander me this way?”

And the soul is filled with
indignation, anger and thoughts of vengeance,
and so the cross gets
muddy, dark and becomes heavy.

On the contrary, the divine views
are full of grace, strength and light,
and so the soul does not feel the boldness to say,
“Lord why have you done this to me?”

Instead, the soul humbles and resigns itself;
and the cross becomes light
and brings it light and sweetness.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 With the divine views the cross becomes light, and the soul finds light and sweetness in it.

Ant. 3 There are no roads, doors or keys to enter my Will; it is enough that the soul want it and all is done.

Psalm 3 Vol. XII, February 16, 1921

There are neither roads, nor doors nor keys
to enter into my Will,
because my Will is found everywhere;
it flows underfoot, overhead,
to the right and to the left, and everywhere.

All the creature has to do
is take away the little stone of its will.
Otherwise, even though it is in my Will,
it is like a stranger there,
neither taking part in it nor enjoying its effects,

because the little stone of its will
holds mine back,
just as rocks keep the water
at the shore from running anywhere else.

But if the soul takes away the little stone of its will,
in the very instant it flows in me and I in the soul
it finds every good of mine at its disposal -
strength, light, help -, whatever it wants.

So, this is why there are neither roads,
nor doors nor keys.
It is enough that the soul want it, and all is done.

My Will assumes complete responsibility
and gives it whatever it lacks,
making it travel everywhere,
within the limitless boundaries of my Will.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 3 There are no roads, doors or keys to enter my Will; it is enough that the soul want it and all is done.

SHORT READING Vol. VII, October 18, 1906

“My child, the works that please me most are hidden works because they are free from any human spirit. They contain such preciousness in themselves that I keep them as the finest objects within my heart. Truly, if you were to compare a thousand exterior and plain-to-see works with one that is interior and hidden, the thousand exterior works would remain below just the one interior work, because in exterior works the human spirit always takes its share .”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, May 8, 1918

G. Have you seen what it is to live in my Will? *It is to disappear, it is to
enter into the realm of eternity.

E. Have you seen what it is to live in my Will? *It is to disappear, it is to
enter into the realm of eternity.

G. It is to penetrate into the all-powerfulness of the Eternal One, into the
uncreated mind; it is to take part in everything and in each divine act.

E. *It is to disappear, it is to enter into the realm of eternity.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. Have you seen what it is to live in my Will? *It is to disappear, it is to
enter into the realm of eternity.

Week 2 - Night Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Trinity

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father...

HYMN Vol. X, November 28, 1910

In every moment,
at every hour, I always want to love you
with all my heart!

In every breath of my life,
as I breathe I will love you;
in every beat of my heart,
love, love will I repeat!

In every drop of my blood
love, love will I shout;
in the movements of my body
only love will I embrace!

In your Will I will always live,
and with your own love
for myself and for everyone I will love you! Amen.

Ant. The answer to the “why” is not written on earth, but in heaven.

Psalm Vol. VIII, January 30, 1909

In almost all the events that happen,
Creatures are always repeating and saying,
“But why, but why?”

Why this sickness?
Why this state of soul?
Why this punishment?
And so many other “whys.”

The explanation of the “why”
is not written on earth
but in heaven,
and there everyone will read it.

Do you know what the “why” is?
It is egoism that gives
continual food to self-love.
Do you know where the “why” was created?
In hell. And who was the first
to pronounce it? A devil.

The effects caused by the first “why” were
the loss of innocence in Eden itself,
the war of unappeasable passions,
the ruin of so many souls,
the evils of life….

The history of the “why” is long.
It is enough to tell you
that there is no evil in the world
that does not bear the mark of the “why”.

The “why” is the destruction
of divine wisdom in souls.

And do you know where the “why” will be buried?
In hell, to make them restless forever,
without ever giving them peace.
The art of the “why” is to wage war
against souls without ever giving them rest.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. The answer to the “why” is not written on earth, but in heaven.

SHORT READING Vol. VIII, February 6, 1908

“My child, the sign to know if the soul is in my grace, is that when my grace is communicated, the soul is found ready to carry out what grace wants, in such a way that the grace that was in the interior of the soul before, and the grace which is communicated after, give a hand to each other, and united to the will of the soul, they are ready to act. Then, if the soul is not found ready, it is very doubtful.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. XII, February 13, 1919

G. A single act of my Will, *even for an instant, is full of creative life.

E. A single act of my Will, *even for an instant, is full of creative life.

G. Whoever contains this life, in that instant can give life to everything;

E. *even for an instant, is full of creative life.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. A single act of my Will, *even for an instant, is full of creative life.

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

Canticle (Spiritual testament of Luisa)

Ant. Blessed is the soul that lives is in the Divine Will; all generations will call it blessed!

PRAYER
Holy Father, may our usual state be that of continual prayer, of sacrifice and of union with you in your Will, to pray, make reparation, disarm and impede the punishments that the divine justice wants to pour out upon creatures.
Through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

May the Lord put an end to the night of the human will, and let us rest in the divine. Amen.

Week 2 - Evening Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Trinity

G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

Glory be to the Father...

HYMN Vol. X, November 28, 1910

Only and always with Jesus,
and in Jesus will I always live.
I will sink into his heart
and with Jesus and with his heart,
love, love I will love you!

Only of love do I want to speak,
only love do I want to see,
only love do I want to hear,
always of love do I want to think!

Only with love do I want to burn,
only by love do I want to consume myself,
only love do I want to enjoy,
only love do I want to please!

Only by love do I want to live,
and in love do I want to die!
In every instant, in every hour,
I want to call everyone to love!

To the Father, to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit, Love,
be glory, honor and love,
in their most holy Will! Amen.

Ant. 1 Love is the flame; sacrifices, the wood to increase the fire of love.

Psalm 1 Vol. VIII, October 29, 1907

What is sacrifice?
It is to consume oneself
in the love and in the being
of the person loved.

The more one sacrifices himself,
the more he is consumed in the being he loves,
losing his own being,
and recovering all the features
and the nobility of the divine being.

It is the same in the natural world:
of two servants,
which of them can hope
to sit at his master’s table?

The faithful servant
who sacrifices himself,
laying down his own life,
and for love of his master,
cares more for his master’s interests
than for his own?

Or that servant who, although he does his duty,
when he can escape sacrifices, he does?
Certainly, the first.

So then, love ennobles, unites and forms unity there.
The sacrifices are the wood
to increase the fire of love;
and obedience puts everything in order.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 Love is the flame; sacrifices, the wood to increase the fire of love.

Ant. 2 The more the creature reduces itself to nothing, the more it is filled with the Everything.

Psalm 2 Vol. VIII, November 18, 1907

My dear life, - says the soul –
how bad I have become;
I feel myself reduced to nothing,
I don’t feel anything in me,
everything is empty.

My child, - Jesus responds –
do you feel yourself reduced to nothing?
Be glad! What is more, I tell you:
the more the creature reduces itself to nothing
the more it is filled with the All.

But if it leaves even a shadow of itself,
that shadow keeps me from giving
myself entirely to the soul.

So, your continual return into your nothingness
means that you lose your human being
to recover the divine.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 The more the creature reduces itself to nothing, the more it is filled with the Everything.

Ant. 3 What must be most dear to your heart is the complete undoing of your will in mine.

Psalm 3 Vol. VIII, April 8, 1908

My child, I don’t want anything
to trouble you,
not even being unable
to always receive me in Communion.

It is true that to receive Communion
is something great;
but how long does this intimate union
with the soul last?
At the most, a quarter of an hour.

What must be most dear to your heart
is the complete undoing
of your will in mine.

Whoever lives in intimate union with my Will
is not united just for a quarter of an hour
but always, always.

So then, my Will is continuous communion with the soul;
so that, not once a day
but at every hour, at every moment,
it is always communion for whoever does my Will.

Glory be to the Father….

Ant. 3 What must be most dear to your heart is the complete undoing of your will in mine.

SHORT READING Vol. VIII, July 26, 1908

“Obedience is the area of my dwelling in the soul. Where this area of obedience is lacking I can say there is no place for me inside that soul and I am forced to remain outside.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. VIII, October 3, 1907

G. The Will of God *makes the soul take the divine possession.

E. The Will of God *makes the soul take the divine possession.

G. But obedience is the key to open the door and enter.

E. *makes the soul take the divine possession.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. The Will of God *makes the soul take the divine possession.

Week 2 - Morning Prayer - Day of the Most Holy Trinity

INVITATORY

HYMN
Vol. X, February 8, 1911

Love, love, you alone speak,
for being love
you know how to speak about it.

Do you want me to speak to you of love?
Listen, my beloved child,
my life is of love.

If I breathe, I love you;
if my heart beats,
my heartbeat says to you love, love.
I am crazy with love for you.

If I move, I add love to you,
with love I flood you,
with love I surround you,
with love I caress you,
I shoot arrows of love to you.

With love I dart you,
with love I allure you,
with love I nourish you,
with love I consume you
and pointed darts I send to your heart.

Glory and love be to God the Father,
to Jesus and to the Holy Spirit,
in the unity of their love. Amen.

Ant. 1 This is what I want from you: love, not the thought of sin.

Psalm 1 Vol. VII, January 5, 1907

Some souls are scrupulous about everything
and they are afraid that everything is sin;
and so the soul comes to a stop
along the road of holiness.

True and trustworthy holiness, Jesus says,
consists in receiving
as specialties of divine love,
everything that could happen to the soul,
or that the soul could do,
even the most indifferent thing.

For example, if it were to find a food
that is enjoyable or else distasteful.
It is a specialty of love in the tastiness,
realizing Jesus produces
that taste in the food,
because he loves the soul so much
that he gives it pleasure even in material things.

It is a specialty of love in the distastefulness,
recognizing that he loves the soul so much
that he gives it that displeasure
to make it become like him
in mortification.

A specialty of divine love if it is humiliated,
if it is exalted, if it is healthy or if it is sick,
if it is poor or if it is rich.
A specialty of love is breathing
life, speech, everything, everything.

So, the soul must receive the wave of God’s love
and it must give to God the wave of its own love.
Oh, what a sanctifying bath this wave of love is!

It purifies the soul and makes it holy.
It makes it progress without even realizing it.
The soul lives more the life of heaven than of earth.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 1 This is what I want from you: love, not the thought of sin.

Ant. 2 The soul must not look at how much or how little it does, but rather if it is the Will of God.

Psalm 2 Vol. VIII, April 5, 1908

All my holiness - The Blessed Virgin Mary says –
came forth from within the word Fiat.

I never acted on my own, not even for a breath,
a step or an action.
Absolutely everything came
from within the Will of God –
my food and everything else.

This produced such holiness in me,
riches, glories and honors,
not human but divine.

So, the more the soul
is united, becomes one with the Will of God,
so much more can it be said to be holy,
so much more it is loved by God.

So, the soul must not look at
how much or how little it does,
but rather if it is what God wants.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 2 The soul must not look at how much or how little it does, but rather if it is the Will of God.

Ant. 3 When uncreated love finds that the soul is all love, then it absorbs created love into itself.

Psalm 3 Vol. VIII, July 14, 1907

It is true that confession remits sins,
but the safest and surest thing
to avoid purgatory is love.

So, the predominant passion in the soul must be love:
thoughts, words, movements, everything must be love.
Everything must be embraced by this love.

And so, when uncreated love finds everything love,
it absorbs created love into itself.
In fact, what does purgatory do
if not fill the voids of love
that exist in the soul?

Once it fills these voids
it sends the soul to heaven.
If these voids don’t exist,
then, it’s something that doesn’t regard purgatory.

Glory be to the Father…

Ant. 3 When uncreated love finds that the soul is all love, then it absorbs created love into itself.

SHORT READING Vol. VIII, August 22, 1907

“My children, in order for grace to be able to freely enter into the soul, the soul must be in the world as if there were only God and the soul; because any other thought or thing that places itself between the soul and grace, keeps grace from entering into the soul and the soul from receiving grace.”

RESPONSORIAL Vol. VIII, June 22, 1907

G. The Will of God *triumphs over everything and sweetens everything.

E. The Will of God *triumphs over everything and sweetens everything.

G. It contains such power that nothing can resist it.

E. *it triumphs over everything and sweetens everything.

G. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

E. The Will of God triumphs over everything and sweetens everything.
