G. Oh God, come to reign in us.

E. Lord, let your Will come quickly.

O holy Divine Will,
you are always around us,
calling and pressing us
close to your bosom of light.

If we answer your call
and embrace you in reply,
you love us so much and want to give us so much,
that we don’t know where to put it all!

We are so confused
by such love and generosity,
that our only response can be to love you,
O holy Divine Will! Amen.

Ant. 1 The effects of the light of the sun transform the face of the earth.

Psalm 1 Vol. XIX, May 31, 1926

I want to make known to you the great difference there is
between someone who lives in my Will,
in the unity of its light, and someone
who is resigned and submitted to my Will.

To make understand clearly, you,
I will give you the comparison of it
in the sun up in the sky.
From the vault of the heavens
the sun sends out its rays
over the surface of the earth.

Look, between the sun and the earth
there is a kind of agreement;
the sun touches the earth,
and the earth receives the light
and the touch of the sun.

By receiving the touch of the light,
by submitting to the sun,
the earth receives the effects that the light contains.

These effects transform the face of the earth,
making it turn green again, and bloom.
The plants develop, the fruits mature;
and so many other wonders are seen
on the face of the earth,
which are always produced by the effects
contained in the light of the sun.

But by giving its effects,
the sun does not give its light.
On the contrary, it jealously preserves its unity,
and its effects are not lasting.
So you can see the poor earth
now in full bloom, now all barren.
It undergoes continual changes
almost at every season.

If the sun gave its effects and light to the earth,
the earth would change into a sun
and wouldn’t have to beg its effects anymore.
If it contained the light in itself,
it would become lord of the source
of the effects that the sun contains.

Ant.2 Adam lost the source of the benefits and the effects that the unity of the light of my Will contains.

Psalm 2 Vol. XIX, May 31, 1926

Such is the soul that is resigned
and submitted to my Will:
lives by the effects that are in it.
But because it doesn’t possess its light,
it doesn’t possess the source of the effects
that are found in the sun of the eternal Will.

As a result, these souls are almost like the earth:
now they are rich in virtue, now desolate.
They are always changing in every situation.

And if they are not always resigned
and submitted to my Will,
they are like the earth would be
if it didn’t want to be touched
by the light of the sun.

If the earth receives the sun’s effects
it is because it lets itself be touched by its light,
otherwise it would always be barren,
unable to produce even a blade of grass.

Such was Adam after sinning;
he lost the unity of the light,
and so the source of the benefits and the effects
that the sun of my Will contains.

Before sinning, he possessed
the source of the unity of the light,
together with his Creator,
so each little act of his was a ray of light.

The ray spread throughout all of creation
and then went to dwell in the center of his Creator,
bringing him the love and the exchange
for everything that had been done
for him in all of creation.

Oh, how low Adam fell, and how bitterly he wept over
losing the unity of the light,
which had raised him above all created things
and made him the little god of the earth!

From what I have told you, you can understand
that living in my Will means to possess
the source of the unity of the light of my Will,
as well as the perfect fullness
of the effects it contains.

Consequently, light, love, adoration, and so on,
arise in each of the soul’s acts.
This act becomes an act for each act of the creature,
love for every love.
Like sunlight it penetrates everything,
harmonizes everything
and draws everything together in itself.

Like a brilliant ray
it takes to its Creator
the exchange for everything
I have done for all creatures.
It is the true note of harmony
between heaven and earth.

What a difference between someone who possesses
the source of all the good
that the sun of my Will contains,
and someone who lives by its effects!

It’s like the difference
between the sun and the earth.

So, there is really no comparison
between someone who lives in my Will
and someone who submits to it.

So, Adam possessed the unity of the light
before he sinned,
but he couldn’t recover it
during his lifetime.

He became like the earth
that revolves around the sun:
not being fixed,
while it rotates on its axis
it turns away from the sun
and so produces the night.

Glory be to the Father……

Nor will the brief life of this exile, or all eternity itself be enough to make the long story of my Supreme Will known to you, and to describe the immense wonders it contains.”

PRAYER
Holy Father, take our human will and fuse it in the unity of the light of your Will, so that it may arise more beautiful than ever, for the greater glory of your love and of your eternal mercy.
